The Occasus Experiment is a top-down shoot-em-up. Basic controls similar to asteroids games, only you have the ability to 'sidestep' using your side thrusters for greater manoeuvreability. Huge levels, many weapon power-ups, hundreds of varied aliens to kill, several sound tracks, eerie 2D/3D graphics make for a very addictive game.

* Windows (all versions)
* 700Mhz or above recommended
* 12 Mbytes free hard-disk space
* Graphics card capable of supporting 600 * 800 in true-colour mode, DirectX 7 or higher
* 64Mb RAM

Installation

Once downloaded, run the self-extracting file (occasus_exp.exe) and you will be guided through the install process.

This demo is fully playable for the first 5 levels. You must register the game if you wish to progress beyond this.

The full version features many more missions, ranging from challenging to fiendishly difficult. More aliens to kill, unseen graphics, more soundtracks, power-ups and addictive game play.
